Why choose SB Floraid®?
SB Floraid® is a low excipient formula containing Saccharomyces boulardii, a probiotic yeast, which supports digestive system and intestinal health, and healthy bacteria in the gut. It also relieves diarrhoea, including the frequency of traveller's diarrhoea symptoms. SB also helps restore beneficial gut flora after taking antibiotics.
What makes SB Floraid® different?
SB Floraid® is designed to support digestive system function and maintains beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract. Suitable for children and adults, SB Floraid® does not require refrigeration and is formulated and manufactured in Australia. This low excipient formula is third party tested, and is vegan, dairy and gluten free.

Yes, SB Floraid® is vegan, and is also free from gluten, dairy, soy, corn, eggs and nuts.
Can I take SB Floraid® during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Pregnancy and breastfeeding often entail significant adjustments for your body, diet, and beauty regimen. It's crucial to consult a trusted healthcare practitioner before incorporating any supplement into your routine.
Should I take the formula with food, or on an empty stomach?
SB Floraid® can be taken at any time of day, with or without food.
Can SB Floraid® cause constipation?
While Saccharomyces boulardii relieves diarrhoea, it also supports digestive system health and does not cause constipation.
Should I take SB Floraid® with antibiotics or after?
Because SB Floraid® contains Saccharomyces boulardii, a probiotic yeast, it is not targeted by antibiotics like other bacteria-based probiotics. It is therefore ideal to take SB Floraid® while taking antibiotics, as well as after, to replenish beneficial bacteria.
What does the CFU count mean?
CFU stands for Colony Forming Units, and is a way to measure the individual colonies of bacteria, or yeast in the case of SB Floraid®, in a probiotic formula. It indicates a measurable level of how many of these colonies can exert a therapeutic effect when taken. In the case of SB Floraid®, the CFU count of Saccharomyces boulardii is equivalent to 500mg, or 10 billion CFU.
Is Saccharomyces boulardii a probiotic?
Saccharomyces boulardii is a type of probiotic yeast, and is not a bacteria based probiotic like many other probiotics on the market. This makes it ideal to take during and after antibiotic use, and while travelling to reduce the frequency of symptoms of traveller’s diarrhoea.
